The “DATE Culture” Fostered by Masamune
36 Noh Kagura Dance at Osaki Hachimangu shrine

There were seventeen programs inherited and preserved under the patronage of the domain. Today, eight programs are still inherited by the local volunteered shrine parishioners around the Hachiman-machi area. Appropriately for the prestigious shrine, the Kagura keeps the refinement and elegance in its style. It is performed in September every year at the “Osaki Hchimangu Reisai Yoimiya”.
